How to measure

  1. Extend the spring fully. Measure from the centre of one mounting hole to the centre of the other — not the cylinder body.
  2. Compress it fully and measure the same two points again.
  3. Measure the shiny rod with calipers.
  4. Check the cylinder for a printed force, shown like "450N".
