About NitroLift Supports
A Canadian gas spring supplier based in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, serving OEMs, distributors, and builders across North America and beyond.
We manufacture and supply nitrogen gas-charged lift supports — the springs that hold a hatch open, take the weight out of a lifting panel, and stop a lid falling on someone's hands. Standard compression springs, lockable springs, traction springs, dampers, and the fittings and brackets that mount them.
Most of what we sell is built to a force figure rather than picked off a shelf. A gas spring that is 20% too strong throws the panel open; one that is 20% too weak lets it sag. Getting that number right is the job, which is why the tools on this site calculate it properly rather than offering a rough guide.
We work with customers who know exactly what they want and quote a drawing, and with customers who have a broken spring and a tape measure. Both are welcome.
What we make
Gas-charged lift supports for hatches, hoods, windows, and industrial panels. Standard, lockable, and traction springs, plus dampers for controlling closing speed. Steel, stainless 304, and stainless 316.
How we build
Force is set at manufacture to suit the application, within ±10%. Seal systems are matched to the environment — marine-grade for salt exposure, high-temperature packs for under-hood work.
